Today, I would like to give you some Buyer Tips about how to be ready & prepared to bid or put an offer on a property.

If you want to be taken seriously in your home search , you need to be pre-approved by a lender. This will tell sellers that you have taken the necessary steps financially to qualify for a mortgage. Please speak to Connie to find out more. As, in some markets, agents won’t even work with buyers who haven’t been pre-approved.

At minimum, depending upon your lender , you will likely need 5 per cent of the selling price as a down payment. Also, you need to consider Stamp duty and keep some money on hand for closing costs and an emergency fund.
And lastly , save your property search on many real estate websites and have alerts set for new homes coming on the market. This is the best way to stay ahead of competing buyers.
